A drawing by Anne Frank. It is said that Anne drew this when she was studying at the Montessori school before she was forced to attend the Jewish Lyceum. It is gorgeous isn't it? I think Anne was better at drawing than I could ever be. But Anne assumed she couldn't draw as she wrote in her diary on 5th April 1944:

"I always used to bemoan the fact that I couldn't draw, but now I'm overjoyed that at least I can write". I think Anne could draw as in my opinion, if you can make a piece of artwork like this, then you are an artist. 

January 30th 1944

Last night I went downstairs in the dark, all by myself, after having been there with Father a few nights before. I stood at the top of the stairs while German planes flew back and forth, and I knew I was on my own, that I couldn't count on others for support.
